Sat though the lunch break watching the wind build and eating a rather nice veggie lasagne, there was again a mad rush for kit but since I was full of food and the wind looked like it was going to build again I waited a while, after about 1/2 an hour I headed down to the beach and got a starboard carve 99 and I grabbed a 6m rig from a guy heading back to the beach as he said it was too big. For the first hour it was perfect, just the right amount of power, made about 80% of my duck gybes, although some of them weren't too pretty, and got some nice little chop hops on the smaller board, after than the wind picked up and most people were on 5m rigs, but I was having so much fun I stayed out overpowered and got plenty of speed again on the flat water and lots of high speed gybing, gave up duck gybing as the sail just had too much power to be comfortable, so had a great sail and finished off with an ice cream back on the beach, thats 8 days planning windsurfing in a row, this place is great !
